The situation caused by the corona virus has pushed many families into distress. As part of our company’s corporate social responsibility, we donated two percent of last year’s income to Save the Children´s “Corporate Cooperation 2020: Domestic Families in Distress” campaign. In addition, we made a separate donation to the same campaign for the profits earned from “Developing a better World” day.
“Developing a better World” day has already become a tradition for the people of Softability. During the day, every Softability´s employee has the opportunity to do charity working on Ascension Day. All profits made during the day was paid as a donation to the Save the Children’s campaign to support families in distress.
– The situation in many families at the moment is really challenging and often the biggest victims are children and young people. Softability wants to do its part in helping the most disadvantaged get over the rough times and thus create faith in them for the future, says Janne Repo, CEO of Softability.
Developing a better world through technology and caring
In line with Softability’s mission, we want to be involved in developing a better world through technology and caring. We regularly donate to charity to help the disadvantaged and to support activities, especially for children and young people.
Softability is committed to acting responsibly and we want to make a positive impact through our work and voluntary charity donations. Our goals and values define how we operate and how we interact with our colleagues, partners, customers and society. Our company’s core values - responsibility, respect and empathy – guide us in our work on a daily basis.
– I am sure that correctly targeted support can be crucial and eventually gives many times the amount of good in relation to the input.
