Softability Group has been selected to a Growth Path program, which is Finland’s biggest company growth sparring program, Kasvu Open. Softability’s growth strategy is chasing for 15 per cent annual growth, and through the program Softability will receive sparring from experts, that are familiar with growth strategies.
The aim of the Growth Path program is to help Finnish SME’s that seek for growth. The sparring partners – so called millers – are experts from various fields. They challenge and help companies to develop their growth strategies. 30 companies that have the potential to grow through acquisitions were selected for the program. Participating companies come from different parts of Finland and represent several industries.
Janne Repo, the CEO of Softability Group (in the picture), starts the Growth Path program with the objective to find a solution to recruitment challenges through a possible acquisition. “In the IT industry it is a challenge to find experts through the normal recruitment process, so the acquisition could be a solution to our recruitment needs. Secondly, our new service area – enhanced reality solutions – is rapidly growing and we are looking for a skilled partner”, says CEO Janne Repo.
Repo also says that he is searching for a sparring partner for the acquisition process, because he is not so familiar with it: “I have a technical background and even though I have a long experience in managing a software company, things related to the acquisition are quite new to me.”
In 2016 Softability’s turnover was 4 million euros and Softability is currently employing 50 persons. Repo expects the number of employees to increase to sixty by the end of this year.
