About the event:
The goal of the event is to improve teaching of new technologies in vocational schools by showing how especially robotics and artificial intelligence (AI) are currently being utilized in education and businesses. Through practical examples we want to inspire and encourage students and companies to open-mindedly study, try and deploy these new technologies. At the same time, we want to deepen vocational education organizers’ and corporate life´s interaction around robotics and AI.
Acknowledged futurologist Risto Linturi has been confirmed as the keynote speaker of “Technological breakthrough and possibilities for schools and companies” -event. The event’s program is built around domestic technology pioneer companies´ TED talk- statements, where they present how their products take advantage of these new technologies.
Helsinki area vocational schools’ students, staff and company representatives are invited to the event. Companies, which are participating in the event, can also bring their customers and partners to the event.
Finland can become an international vanguard in utilizing these new technologies, like robotics and AI, if we bravely embrace these new possibilities in schools and companies. We want to inspire and encourage students, teachers and companies to open-mindedly discover new technologies, robotics and AI applications and build a culture of experimentation in schools and businesses.
