Our brief history
Our story begins in 2002 when Thermo Electron outsourced its software development, and Softability was established. While our origins in medical R&D have remained central to our work, we quickly expanded into supporting clients in the manufacturing industry, too.
Initially focused on software development, we quickly established ourselves as a trusted Microsoft partner for clients seeking reliable development support. Over the years, our capabilities have grown to encompass not only software development but also quality assurance and, more recently, data engineering.
In 2016, we ventured into XR technologies, exploring innovative ways to enhance our services. A year later, we developed our own remote support software, XReach, in collaboration with a client. Today, XReach has its development team, and the business is part of Softability. Nevertheless, software consulting remains at the heart of what we do.
Over two decades, we’ve grown steadily to a team of over 60 experts representing around 15 nationalities. We proudly support various R&D teams within different industries in driving their product development forward.
Though we’ve been in business for over 20 years, we believe our growth story is just getting started.
